I was in the same spot, working my a** off to be a damn good teacher, loving it but barely making enough money to cover the essentials. Hard work, dedication, experience, and education allowed for me to move up from teacher to principal, and with that came a larger salary. And you would think that would solve those money problems, right? Wrong, oh so very wrong.

Even with this promotion I was still underpaid, drowning in debt, and nervous AF to put my bills on autopay. And it wasn’t from a lack of trying or budgeting, cause I can squeeze a dollar, let me tell you. I budgeted my butt off, but there came a time where I was sitting on the side of the road, on my way to cash a loan check when my car ran out of gas and I finally said enough was enough.

I knew there had to be another way to use my passion for education to make an impact and a decent living, instead of just wearing my stilettos to the soles trying to climb that educational ladder with little return on my investment. Within 8 months of starting my education consulting business I was able to pay off my credit card debts and create a 3 month savings cushion for myself. That was four years ago. Hi, I am Dr. Erica Jordan-Thomas!

I am an award winning educator and entrepreneur. My experience in education includes serving as a teacher, instructional coach, assistant principal and principal. What is the agenda and how long does the event last?

Dr. EJT knows that you’ve got to think seven-figures before you see it. Consequently, she has designed this 3-day experience to help you overcome your self-limiting beliefs and build the toolbox you need to grab the business and life you’ve dreamed about!

Day 1 – 8:30 am to 9 pm

These times are subject to change as we make time to accommodate the unique needs of our clients. Therefore, we don’t recommend making any plans for the evenings so that you can be fully present and catch every business growth strategy and insight that is waiting for you.

When should I plan to arrive and depart? (What I’m really trying to figure out is how many PTO days I should take…)

You need to take a PTO day, period. As high-performing educators, we are often hesitant to take PTO and this is not the time to be stingy. Prepare the others and put in your request. We will jump straight into the transformative programming we have planned on Friday morning, therefore you should plan to travel and arrive on Thursday, September 26, 2024. We will plan to wrap up Sunday no later than 4pm EST. If you arrive late or depart early, you will be sacrificing your transformative experience. You owe it to yourself and your dreams to experience the full three days in its entirety.

If I am coming from out of town, where should I stay?

We have arranged for a limited number of rooms at the hotel where the event will take place. The InterContinental Buckhead Atlanta Hotel has provided a generous discounted price for our guests who take advantage of the room block. It is highly recommended that you stay at our host venue for a smooth experience and allow yourself to be fully present (instead of worrying whether or not Atlanta traffic will make you late…it probably will…). More details regarding how to book a room within our provided room block will be shared upon registration. We recommend that you book your room as soon as you register as rooms at the venue are limited.

Will you offer a livestream ticket?

No, as this event is in-person, so we will not be offering a livestream ticket.

Is there a refund/cancellation policy?

There are absolutely, positively NO REFUNDS under any circumstances. We will not be able to process refunds for any reason. Make sure you understand fully: we have a strict No Refunds policy when you purchase. By purchasing, you understand there are absolutely no refunds. Additionally, your registration is noncancellable. If you decide not to participate or are a no show, you are not due a refund and a refund will not be processed.

Is my registration tax-deductible?

In general, most professional development courses can be written off in part or completely as a business expense. Even so, I strongly recommend that you share your receipt with your tax advisor to determine the best path forward for you.

What is the dress code for the event?

The dress code is business casual aka whatever will make you feel ready to receive your transformation and plan your path to seven-figures.
